Fable Celebrates Auckland United’s Premiership Win

In their recent midweek match, Auckland United delivered a commanding 4-1 win over West Coast Rangers at Keith Hay Park, securing the premiership title with a game to spare. Goals from Rene Wasi, Chelsea Elliott, and Charlotte Roche, along with an own goal, sealed the victory in wet conditions. This win adds to the team’s already impressive 2024 season, which includes their OFC Women’s Champions League title earlier in the year.

With just one premiership match remaining against Western Springs this Sunday, Auckland United stands on the verge of completing an unbeaten season. But their journey doesn’t stop there. On Saturday, September 7, they’ll meet Western Springs again in the Kate Sheppard Cup final at North Harbour Stadium. A win there would see them achieve a clean sweep of major trophies this season—a truly remarkable feat.
